1983 Batik Art by Heidi Lange

This unique 1983 piece of East African batik art by Swedish artist Heidi Lange is titled “3 Maasai Girls” or “Maasai Women professionally framed.” I’ve been hoarding it, but I’m now ready to find it a new home! I absolutely love it.

Heidi Lange, a renowned Swedish artist with an international background, spent four years studying at the Art Academy in Rome.

After living in Kenya for 30 years, she gained fame for her African screen prints.

Now, she resides in Sweden and draws inspiration from rock paintings, Viking picture stones, and lap drums.
